ABAA Membership
Membership Qualifications :

Membership of the ABAA consists of Corporate Members and Associate Members. Membership is by application (form provided by Executive Director) and application for membership must be approved by the Executive Committee of the Association. To be approved all the requirements of one of the following categories must be satisfied:

1) Corporate Membership Requirements :

The company must own and/or operate a single or multi engine turbine powered aircraft and the company must primarily be based in Australia. The company aircraft must be used as an aid to the conduct of its business. The company must certify all of the following:

An operations manual or company aircraft procedures manual and a maintenance programme are utilised. When the aircraft is flown, at least one professional pilot is employed either directly or through a contract lessor operator. Each pilot and/ or crew member must undergo a proficiency check at least once per year.

2) Associate Membership Requirements :

Where a business or individual is involved in aviation but does not meet the requirements of Corporate Membership. If the business or individual operates aircraft, at least one aircraft must be turbine powered.



Annual fees are $2,000+GST for Corporate Membership and $1,500+GST for Associate Membership.

It should be noted that the Executive Committee may at its sole discretion, waive a particular membership qualification should this be considered in the interest of the Association.

In order to be fully effective the ABAA will need to have a strong membership from all States and Territories in Australia and we look forward to your support in this regard.
